About Nautica Thorn

Nautica Thorn was born June 13, 1984 in Oahu, Hawaii as an only child. She is half Japanese, a quarter Hawaiian, and a quarter Puerto Rican, which resulted in her unique appearance. Her mother works as a secretary, and her father is in the construction business. She has always said she has enjoyed sex since an early age, saying that she first kissed a boy at age twelve, gave oral sex to a boy at age thirteen, and lost her virginity at fourteen. Thorn also worked in promotion and marketing for a record company at age fourteen. In 2002 at the ripe age of nineteen Nautica decided that she wanted to star in quality adult movies. The move to adult entertainment was spurred by an agent approaching her when she was dancing and offered her nude modeling opportunities. These opportunities began with nude modeling, followed by masturbation scenes and later hardcore sex. Her first appearances were in a string of pro-am films like Up N Cummers 116, paving the way to her first major adult movie releases in the year 2003.
Initially, Thorn shot just blowjob and girl-girl scenes, with an eye towards prolonging her career. She says about that pace “it just killed me” and that she “kept on getting torn and yeast infections.” She had her blood tested twice a month instead of one monthly. She has accompanied Adult Super Star Tera Patrick at signings around the country and continues feature dancing, selling out every club she appears at. Nautica has been featured in numerous adult magazine like Fox , Playboy , Genesis , Club, and Hustler just to name a few and is continuously sought after to appear in mainstream movies and television shows. Thorn was a cast member of the Fox Network reality TV show My Bare Lady. She was also briefly featured as a lap dancer in the 2007 feature film comedy, Knocked Up.

In an interview in August 2008, Thorn mentioned that although she grew up eating meat (and asking her mom to send her Spam after Thorn moved to the mainland) she is now a vegetarian. She also maintains her health and fitness by working out. Nautica Thorn has shared her workout routine with Fantasy Fitness, a mainstream sports brand, during a video shoot in which she demonstrates excellent form lifting weights and also modeling fitness clothes.
